- Teacher of piano and music theory at the Bovec Music School (1989-2002).- Coach at the Department of Expressive Dance at the Ljubljana Music and Ballet High School (1990-1992).
- Teacher of solfeggio and composition at the Ljubljana Music and Ballet High School (1996-1999).
- Teacher of solfeggio and composition at the Koper Arts Grammar School (since 1999).
- Teacher of solfeggio and composition at the Nova Gorica Music School (since 2000).
- Initiator, member of the organising committee and secretary of the 1st Choral and Vocal Group Competition of Primorje, Postojna (2002).
- Artistic director of the 1st and 2nd Koper Choral Festivals (2001, 2002), member of the artistic board of the 3rd Koper Choral Festival (2003).
- Artistic director of the Nova Gorica Chamber Choir (since 1998).
- Artistic director of the Obala Mixed Choir (since 1998).
Awards and Prizes
as a composer:- Second prize in the 1st International Competition of the Tone Tomšič Academic Choir for the composition Jnjen čeua jti gna', 1994.
- Concert dedicated entirely to his own works at the Cankarjev dom Cultural and Congress Centre, Ljubljana 1994.
- Third prize in the Zagorje Youth Choir Competition for the composition Deček in cvet (The Boy and the Flower), 1995.
- Young Musician of the Year, 1995.
- Second prize in the competition on the anniversary of the magazine Naši zbori (Our Choirs), for the composition Na robu molka (On the Edge of Silence) 1996.
- Concert dedicated entirely to his own works at the Ljubljana Festival, 1996.
- Student Prešeren Prize of the University of Ljubljana for the composition Stabat mater – versions for choir and orchestra and for choir a cappella, 1997.
- Second prize and Marolt Award for the best male choir composition in the International Competition of the Tone Tomšič Academic Choir for the song cycle Tiha misel zablestela (Silent Thought A-glimmer), 1997.

- First place in the category MeMPZ, gold medal at the choral meeting Zagorje ob Savi, 2001.

- Gold medal, special recognition for the best performance of a Slovene folk song at the 16th Choral Competition Naša pesem (Our Song) 1999, Maribor.
- First place, gold medal, and special prize for the conductor for exceptional achievement with a choir at the 1st International Choral Competition Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA, 1999.
- First place in the category ‘mixed choirs’ and third place in the category ‘folk song’ at the 18th International Choral Competition Cantonigros, Spain, 2000.
- First place, gold medal in the category ‘mixed choirs’ and second place, gold medal in the category ‘folk song’ at the 18th International Choral Competition Orlando di Lasso, Camerino, Italy, 2001.
- First place, special recognition for the best performance of the obligatory composition by Schubert, the Ferdinand Grossman Award for the conductor for exceptional achievement with a choir at the 8th International Choral Competition Franz Schubert, Vienna, Austria, 2001.
- Gold medal, special recognition for the best choice of programme at the 18th Choral Competition Naša pesem (Our Song) 2003, Maribor.
- First place, gold medal for the best choir at the competition, special recognition for the best performance of the obligatory song, and special prize for the best conductor at the 9th International Choral Competition Preveza, Greece, 2003.
