Awards

Slovene composers receive many prizes and awards of recognition for their creative work.

The most prestigious award of the Society of Slovene Composers for compositional achievements is the Kozina Award, while amongst the other most important prizes and awards of recognition for music creativity in the Slovene cultural sphere are the Prešeren Prize, the Prešeren Fund Prize and the Župančič Award of the Municipality of Ljubljana.
