1964-70 Basic music education in mandolin, guitar, contrabass, flute and piano in Priština.1976 Completed Department of Dentistry at the Priština Medical Upper Secondary School, parallel studies in choral singing with “Collegium Cantorum”.
1977-79 Studies in stomatology at the Medical Faculty in Priština.
1980-82 Studies in stomatology at the Medical Faculty in Priština, parallel studies of contrabass with Prof. Dušan Nedovič.
1982-85 Furthers studies of jazz music at music workshops in Switzerland, Italy, Austria and Germany.
1988- State approved status of freelance artist.
2000- Studies in musicology at the Ljubljana Faculty of Arts (graduated from the Musicology Department in 2010 with an undergraduate thesis presenting the life of his father Uki Brizani – Uka Brizani and His Role in Music Life in Kosovo after World War II).
2010- Doctoral student at the ECPD INTERNATIONAL DOCTORAL STUDIES University.
Career
Brizani is active as a composer, arranger, multi-instrumentalist, producer, bass guitar player, vocalist, music pedagogue and mentor in the field of jazz, ethno, funk and classical music, collaborating with Slovene and world-renowned musicians and music ensembles (Esma Redžepova, Lojze Kranjčan, Dejan Pečenko, Alex Deutsch, Latino Messengers, Ratko Divjak, Joe Malkovich, Roy Ayers, Magic Malika Orchestra, Ida Kelarova, Igor Krikunov, Bajsa Arifovska and the Macedonian Darhia Orchestra, Zdenka Kovačiček, Titi Robin, Peter Erskin, RTV Slovenia Big Band, RTV Slovenia Symphony Orchestra, etc.).- Member of the working group for the preparation of an action programme for the integration of Roma into the education process (Ministry of Education and Sport (2006).
- Initiator and organiser of cultural events on the International Roma Nation Day in Cankarjev Dom Cultural and Congress Centre, Ljubljana (2002-).
- President of the Amala Roma Society (1995-).
- Organiser of round tables on the topic of Roma, their identity and culture in the Slovene Ethnographic Museum and in the Cankarjev Dom Cultural and Congress Centre, Ljubljana (2004-2005).
- Initiator and organiser of workshops for Roma children in Ljubljana - Slovene Ethnographic Museum (2004).
- The first Roma musician to present a portrait concert with the Big Band and the RTV Slovenia Symphony Orchestra (2008, 2011, 2013).
- Composer of Glass Apple, the first Slovene-Roma musical (2009).

* Kali Sara Award for an outstanding contribution to the development of Roma music, Zagreb (2009).
* Slovenian Roma Association Award for an outstanding contribution to a Roma assembly (2005).
* Award for participating in the central cultural event of the International Roma Nation Day in Murska Sobota (2007).
* Award for a musical performance at the Khamoro Festival, Prague, Czech Republic (2007).
* Award for a musical performance at the Gipsy Festival of Arts, Kijev, Ukraine (2000).
* Award for a musical performance at the Gipsy Celebration, Brno, Czech Republic (2007).
