EDUCATION:
- Grammar School (natural sciences) and Intermediate Music School,
- Academy of Music in Ljubljana: studies of composition (Prof. Alojz Srebotnjak, Prof. Marko Mihevc and Prof. Uroš Rojko) and violoncello (class of Prof. Miloš Mlejnik).
CAREER:
- editor for symphonic music at Radio Slovenia.
OUTPUT:
His works have been performed at the international tribune of electro-acoustic music IREAM in Madrid, at the festival Glasbeni september (Musical September) in Maribor, in the concert cycle Jesenske serenade (Autumn Serenades) in Ljubljana and in several recitals of solo and chamber music at home and abroad (München, Dubrovnik, Bari). His works are often inspired by and connected with literary texts. He works in close collaboration with the Slovene poet and dramatist Krištof Dovjak, and he also ventured into the field of film music with two film studies by Marko Naberšnik: Z ljubeznijo (With Love) and Pavle (Paul).
ORCHESTRAL MUSIC:
Triptihon (Triptych) for actors and symphony orchestra.
CHAMBER MUSIC:
Finnegan's Wake for string quartet, Project Satyricon for narrator, chamber ensemble and electronics.
ELECTRO-ACOUSTIC MUSIC:
Opus Quantum.
