OUTPUT:
Comprises over 350 works. He wrote for all domains of both absolute and programmatic music, as well as light music.
The vastest place is taken up by his choral works – he published five anthologies with piano accompaniment (unpublished version also with orchestral accompaniment), which comprise over 130 songs. His didactic works for string orchestra were performed in numerous concerts in music schools all over Slovenia. His tutors and textbooks for music theory I-IV comprise mainly his own compositions, well adjusted to didactic and principles, since Habe is the leading Slovene expert and pedagogue in the field of solfeggio. His chamber works were performed and received acknowledgements at home (Musica Danubiana, Kogojevi dnevi – Kogoj's Days, Noè slovenskih skladateljev – Night of Slovene composers, Julij na obali – July on the Coast) and abroad (Paris, Barcelona, Vienna, Salzburg).
As the composer feels closely linked to the sensitivity and the nature of the Slovene people, his traditional compositions show the lyricism of Slovene melodism in a lucid and clearly arranged way, in spite of contemporary elements and the contrapuntal treatment of material."
